Last night a 'friend, my dear friend, talking about the blog, asked me, but why not devote a session of the blog for vegetarians? Then I did, "rewind" on all my recipes published (and many still to be published) and I realized they already have a blog almost "vegetarian"! Apart from a few slices of bacon or sausage recipe ran in a few! Think about it, in fact, for some time now, I do not cook anymore, or almost, meat (except chicken), always preferring fish and vegetables. Of course I do not think it means to be a vegetarian ... boooh ... anyway ... the smooth-running is really complicated and deserves more space. However there place, a lover of vegetables, this recipe: Brussels sprouts
with saffron cream
Ingredients:
- Brussels sprouts;
- parmesan
For the cream Saffron
- vegetable broth;
- cream or fresh cream;
- flour:
- ; shallots;
- butter
- ; saffron
Cook sprouts steamed cleaned and rinsed. Once cooked, keep aside.
For the cream:
Melt the butter in a saucepan and fry the shallots, sprinkle with white wine, and pour the broth to soften. At boil add the flour, stirring with a whisk and add the cream. Cook the sauce, add salt, pepper and finally the saffron.
piofila In a small buttered, pour the sprouts and cover with saffron cream and a good grating of parmesan cheese.
Put in oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes or until a nice crust will be formed.
... and that's it ...... good appetite and buonumoreincucina everyone!
Until next time,
Rosalba
